Board Members

An agriculture graduate turned entrepreneur , Prasad brings in rich experience from his exposure to various sectors viz. Agro Chemicals , Banking institution  and  advertisement  firms.  He is currently working as Managing Director , Atama Impex Company based at Chennai prior to this he worked for leading private sector banks like HDFC Bank, ICICI bank..

Prasad is a member of the Rotary club and is a man with positive attitude , hard working,  always willing to listen and help the needy. He is an active contributor to the activities of the FACT.

Shanmugavel Murty completed his graduation from the Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University and started an Agri Clinic in Athur, Salem. He helps farmers through advisory , marketing and sale of inputs. He is a renowned  Tamil poet who reflects on  good actions spontaneously. He has been awarded " Pasumai Kavalar " by Tami Nadu Agriculture Graduates Association , He is the President of Integrated Protech Farmers Association.

He has been a committed Volunteer in the activities of FACT and has been an active contributor to the trust.

In his role as a vice Chairman of the trust, He chairs the board meetings of the trustees and conducts the meetings in a democratic manner in the absence of the Chairman.

Soundary Grace completed her post graduation in Horticulture from the Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University and worked as a lecturer in Gandhigram Rural Institute,(Deemed University) Dindigul prior to turning an entrepreneur in field of education. She is currently the correspondent and Principal of Sacred Heart's Primary School in Chennai.

Social service has been her passion since her college days and is a family counsellor. She has been a committed Volunteer in the activities of FACT and has been managing the Finances of the trust efficiently.

In her role as the treasurer of the trust, She is accountable for controlling the finances of the trust, Making financial reports managing the trust's bank accounts and filling returns to the government.

Subhashini Sridhar is an entrepreneur and is the CEO of Valanadu sustainable agriculture producer company since 2013. She completed her graduation in Agriculture and post graduation in Business Administration. She has co authored over 50 publications in Tamil and English on organic farming under CIKS. She also presented  a paper on "community vermicompost production - women led initiative in Sirkazhi taluk" in  world organic congress organised by IFOAM in South Korea , 2012.

Subhashini has a passion in rural education and sustainable development in Tamilnadu. She is a committed Volunteer in the activities of FACT and has been actively involved in the projects of FACT

In her role as the secretary of the trust, She is responsible for ensuring all facilities for the activities of the trust, preparing agendas for the trust board meetings, and Recording accurate minutes of the meeting.
