Ficus Agros' 95 Charitable Trust (FACT) is a non-profit organisation that was founded by a dynamic group of people belonging to the class of 95, Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University on 10 September 2020. An Alumni Board of Trustees comprising of 9 lay-members serve in a honorary role in the day to day running of the trust and the alumni relations programs. An updated Strategic Plan was adopted by the Alumni Board of Directors/Trustees in 2020 that emphasizes the commitment of the Alumni Association to serve and involve alumni in the life of the University and the community in general. FACT Board’s strategic plan outlines the TRUST mission and purpose, its vision, its principles and core values, and its strategic directions. Each of these statements embodies the belief that alumni are a key component in the continued success of the University as a leading institution of higher education that they helped shape.
This project has completed a decade of silent contribution to the community at large, whispering amongst the sands, but, now with a license in the name of a trust, it is time for FACT to serve and create an impact amongst the community and the University backed by the alumnus of the batch of 95 with finances and other means from time to time.
